As an R&D Engineer you will be integral in developing cutting-edge medical devices. This role involves utilizing engineering expertise to create solutions that meet user needs, and providing regular progress updates to the team and management.
Responsibilities
As an R&D Engineer, you will:
Translate design inputs into effective concepts and detailed designs, including specifications and test plans.
Select appropriate materials and assembly methods for product development.
Develop test models and execute test plans, analyzing results to refine device functionality.
Collaboratively work with multidisciplinary teams using Design Thinking and Doing approaches.
Liaise with external vendors and resources to meet project objectives within deadlines and budgets.
Develop training materials focused on physician needs and clinical applications.
Engage in risk management throughout the device development process.
Support CAPA and complaint investigation processes.
Requirements
A degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
2 years of experience in medical device design and development, including CAD, prototyping, and testing.
