Our client, a global healthcare leader who specialises in life-changing technologies, is recruiting a part-time Analytical Laboratory Technician to join their team.
This part-time role is for three 8-hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities:
As an Analytical Laboratory Technician, you will be required to:
Conduct analytical testing across a range of techniques (including, but not limited to HPLC, ICP & LC MSMS) to support raw material analysis, in-process testing and finished product testing
Develop, evaluate and verify analytical test methods across a range of techniques (including HPLC, ICP & LC MSMS) as required
Contribute to and/or lead troubleshooting and investigation of analytical issues using quality tools
Batch checking as per requirements
Provide analytical support in the technical transfer of analytical methods into the Analytical Laboratory
Support and coordinate equipment installation and validation activities as required by project demands
Ensure the correct waste disposal procedures are followed and adhered to
Contribute to the Analytical Laboratory's continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
BSc in biochemistry or equivalent scientific discipline
Minimum of 1-year experience working in a similar analytical role
Strong understanding of the analytical techniques & methods used
Strong understanding of compliance and quality standards
