Position: Junior Buyer - Electronics Components (Remote with EU Travel)
Location: Fully remote, occasional travel within the European Union
Languages: Proficiency in German, with ideally Swedish or French
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics components sourcing or components project management. This is a fully remote position with occasional travel within the European Union.
Responsibilities:
Conduct sourcing activities for electronics components, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve favorable agreements.
Manage relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential vendors.
Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and ensure optimal stock levels.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and industry developments to stay informed and make informed purchasing decisions.
Support customer management activities, addressing inquiries and providing product information.
Occasional travel within the European Union for supplier visits, negotiations, and other business-related activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in German is mandatory; proficiency in Swedish or French is highly desirable.
Experience in electronics components sourcing or components project management and sales.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Willingness to travel within the European Union as needed.
