Job Title: Workshop Technician
Location: Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin
We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join our client, a global leader in the semiconductor industry. This is a 12-month contract to support the maintenance and repair at their site in Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin. This role will be part of a brilliant team which maintains and repairs vacuum equipment from client sites around Ireland.
We are looking for:
- Technically minded individuals with a great attitude to learning, OR
- Individuals with Level 6 in Mechanical / Motor Maintenance, 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical, and those who have a qualification in Aircraft Mechanics, OR
- Graduates with a Level 7 or Level 8 of Engineering Disciplines in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, OR
- Experienced hires – those coming from an installation/ commissioning / mechanical/ repair background with 2-3 years of experience
- Experience with plumbing is also applicable.
Key Requirements:
- 2nd/3rd level education, in a mechanical/technical field
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a manufacturing / technical role
- Ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and published specifications
- Willingness to work day shifts, Monday-Friday. Latest shift ends 3.30 pm
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented person who has ability to work as part of a team
