An exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our client, a leading plastics manufacturing company based in West Limerick on a permanent contract. This is a fully onsite position and will be based on a Mon-Fri week (8am-5pm).
Role Responsibilities:
- Day to day supervision of the Warehouse and assist warehouse operatives with the day to day duties.
- You will provide support to the Warehouse Manager.
- The Warehouse Supervisor will maintain Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensuring picking, packing & loading of all orders are completed to the companies standard.
- The Warehouse Supervisor will perform picking/packing duties as required.
- Perform goods inwards & outwards tasks which will require loading and unloading the racking system with product pallets.
- You will ensure the department follows Health and Safety compliance.
- You will ensure the department follows Quality, Technical & Regulatory compliance.
- You will assist with the co-ordination & organisation of transport as required.
- Effective management of warehousing operations, stock integrity, staffing levels, training, performance management etc.
- Drive Quality policies and ensure compliance. Drive staff compliance with operating procedures and SOP updates within area. Ensure training and development opportunities are identified and completed.
- You will ensure all warehouse damages are recorded and processed inline with company policy.
- To ensure all confirmation of orders and documentation are completed in the correct manner.
- Accountability for all stock in warehouse - replenish into locations and correct rotation.
Role Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in a Warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Computer literate - knowledge of SAP Application an advantage.
- Strong Leadership and Organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in the organisation.
- Clean drivers’ licence
- Relevant mechanical lifting equipment licence desirable.
