Production Planner required for a Galway medtech manufacturing company to manage and control production scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Translate confirmed demand into detailed production and subassembly schedules
- Release and manage Work Orders in ERP
- Prioritise and sequence shopfloor activities to ensure on-time completion
- Monitor and control Work-in-Progress (WIP)
- Oversee Kanban replenishment systems
- Track products at external partners (e.g. sterilization providers)
- Ensure production traceability and ERP data accuracy
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in Production Planning and Scheduling
- Experience in regulated MedTech or Pharma manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of ISO 13485 and production traceability
- ERP/MRP system expertise
- Highly structured and detail-oriented mindset
- Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills across Manufacturing,
- Quality and Logistics
