Our client, a leading multinational medical device organisation, is seeking a Territory Manager-Medical Devices | Operating Theatre and ICU to join its Surgical Solutions and Infection Prevention division, covering the Republic of Ireland.
This is a permanent, full-time, field-based role focused on driving adoption of advanced patient warming systems, perioperative solutions, IV therapy products and infection prevention technologies within the acute hospital environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and procurement stakeholders across operating theatre and critical care settings to support product implementation, manage tender processes and increase utilisation across key accounts.
Travel: Approximately 50% to 60% national travel required
Territory: Connacht, Leinster and Ulster, including Galway, Mayo, Donegal, Offaly, Wicklow, Dublin and Louth
Key Responsibilities of Territory Manager:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers, including clinicians, consultants, anaesthetists, procurement teams and department leads
- Support pre-tender engagement, tender implementation and new product introduction across hospital sites
- Deliver the value proposition across a portfolio of patient warming, perioperative, IV therapy and infection prevention products
- Promote value-based selling strategies across capital equipment, consumables and service offerings
- Develop and execute a structured territory business plan to drive account penetration and product usage
- Manage opportunities through a professional CRM led key account management process
Requirements:
- Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Nursing or a related clinical discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Previous medical device sales experience or relevant clinical background
- Experience selling capital equipment or IV therapy or patient warming products is desirable
- Proven ability to manage hospital accounts and complex sales cycles
- Comfortable working within operating theatre, ICU or critical care environments
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Full driving licence required
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
