Our Cork based client is looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor to join their team. This role reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the organisation of people, equipment, and processes across Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Development, Customer Service, and Logistics (shipping, receiving, and stores) to ensure business and customer commitments are met.
The supply chain team procures and manages electronic components, metal work, and electronic sub-assemblies from a global supplier base, supporting made-to-order production plans to ensure on-time delivery.
This is a senior on-site leadership role with responsibility for 20+ staff, including approximately 10 direct reports, some of whom are supervisors.

- Continually refine and optimise processes
The role works closely with internal teams including Production, Program Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, HR, FEHS, and Value Stream Management, as well as with global supply chain partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Development, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to meet business and customer commitments
- Plan and allocate resources to achieve operational targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other internal teams to deliver against sales orders
- Monitor performance against plans using KPIs, taking corrective and preventative action where required
- Maintain control of inventory accuracy, availability, and ERP data integrity
- Manage supplier performance, customer delivery, and regulatory compliance (including Known Consignor, Dangerous Goods, and import/export requirements)
- Drive continuous improvement and supply chain optimisation using Lean and CI tools
- Support recruitment, performance management, training, and development of team members
Candidate Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience leading and managing teams in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Qualification and experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or a related business discipline
- Engineering qualification or experience in Electronic/Electrical Engineering is an advantage
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage
- Known Consignor compliance experience is an advantage
- Lean and Continuous Improvement experience is desirable
- Project Management experience is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
