Our client is a designer and manufacturer of high-reliability electronic motor control solutions. They are certified to the Aerospace Standard AS/EN9100 for manufacturing, design, and aftermarket services. They are on the lookout for an experienced Stores Operator to join their team. This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months with the possibility of extension/to be made permanent.
Responsibilities:
Manually set up equipment to allow the preparation of components for PTH level kits.
Packing of cards and units shipping on a weekly basis to customer or subcontractor.
Responsible for the stock in our off site warehouse. Maintaining stock levels in stores and sending stock off site so that we follow all safety requirements for space. Updating and maintaining off site reports.
Work to schedules as prioritised by planning. Kitting as per schedule and prep as per schedules.
Ensure all Procedures and Process documentation is accurately followed and up to date in all aspects.
Materials Control, including “control of inventory”, transaction integrity and Cycle counting.
Achievement of all Quality and Production, targets and objectives as well as supporting Quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualification & Skills:
Experience in a stores function required
Experience with Inventory control
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in an operations or manufacturing environment
