Program Lead

My Client, a leading Global Medical Device company based in Athlone are seeking to hire a Program Lead. The Program Lead is responsible for developing, managing, and executing their Global Cultural Change Programme which aims to enlighten and bring together employees across the organisation, at every level, by highlighting their contributions to the production of high quality, compliant medical devices, and underscore how quality can impact the health and quality of people’s lives.

Responsibilities include:

Program Execution and Leadership:

  • Develop programs strategy, charter, schedule, governance plan, resource plan, and budget.

  • Influence and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to garner support, resources, and participation for the program's success.

  • Execute and manage day-to-day operations of the cultural program ensuring tasks and initiatives are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the program, representing it at events, meetings, and engagements.

  • Influence without authority and motivate a team, fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Marketing/ Communications:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy to promote the cultural program both internally and externally utilizing various channels to increase awareness and participation.

  • Collaborate with global communications team on branding strategies, messaging, content creation (including videos, articles, and other media).

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Cultivate strong and positive business relationships with Operations, Commercial, global communications, and other cross functional teams’ stakeholders to align projects already underway globally.

  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs demand.

  • Provide other departmental support as requested by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years in program management or relevant field, with a proven track record of successfully executing cultural programs preferred.

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field. Masters qualified preferable but not essential.

  • Strong background in marketing strategies, including digital marketing, PR, and/or campaign management preferred.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-starter with the ability to inspire and lead a team and to engage and persuade diverse audiences effectively.

  • Charismatic personality with a diplomatic approach to handle various situations and represent the program positively.

  • Ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to challenges.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel

  • TRAVEL REQUIRED: Approx 20 % travel required
