An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead operations for our well-known client, a global manufacturer of heavy equipment for construction, materials processing, waste/recycling and lifting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate the paintshop team, ensuring high safety and quality standards
- Plan and control paint and shot-blast production to meet schedules and takt time
- Ensure zero-defect quality and compliance with standard work and H&S requirements
- Manage daily production, costs, resources and equipment performance
- Coordinate safe movement, loading and unloading of materials and finished products
- Maintain housekeeping, maintenance schedules and site safety for staff and drivers
- Communicate daily priorities and performance expectations to the team
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial coatings and paint spraying
- Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and inventory control
- Ability to lead, engage and manage high-performing teams
- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- IT-literate with experience using MRP or similar systems
- FLT / industrial truck operating experience an advantage
