Our client is a leading producer and supplier of high-value, mission-critical materials, ingredients, and additives that are vital to a diverse range of industries, including Pharma, Medical Devices, Food Production, and Industrial sectors.
They are currently looking to hire a Production Manager to join their team based on-site in Portlaoise. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities include overseeing production operations, optimising performance, ensuring product quality, and promoting a culture of safety. They will lead and develop a production team, manage resources, and drive process improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee production schedules to meet customer demand.
Coordinate batch processing activities efficiently.
Ensure production processes comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Manage and develop a skilled production team.
Provide guidance, training, and support to achieve production goals.
Sustain quality control measures to maintain product integrity.
Monitor and address any deviations from quality standards.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
Collaborate with various teams to execute process enhancements.
Participate in the site management team, working collaboratively to shape and uphold the site's culture and vision.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years Experience in a Production role within a Manufacturing Environment.
Third Level Qualification in Engineering or related field.
Experience working effectively within cross-boundary relationships.
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma.
Strong written and communication skills.
