An Exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to join a global leading pharmaceutical company on an 11-month contract. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in logistics and supply chain management by overseeing the movement and storage of materials within the company. This position is based in Carlow.
Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):
Maintain cleanliness and manage materials in the Weigh and Dispense area, adhering to GMP compliance standards, and ensuring materials are readily available to support operations.
Transfer materials from the production area to the warehouse or other locations within the facility in accordance with site SOPs and GMP standards while prioritizing safety in material handling.
Verify and update equipment calibration status, using the Electronic Batch Record (EBR) for material dispensing during weigh & dispense activities.
Sustain process equipment functionality by conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and making qualified repairs when necessary.
Actively engage in investigations, contribute to investigation reports, execute or develop change control/Quality Notifications (QNs), and participate in projects to support continuous improvement initiatives.
What the ideal Material Handler looks like:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent required
Related work experience, ideally in a cleanroom environment/ Warehouse. Preferably GMP setting.
Knowledge of MES & SAP is desirable but not essential.
Apprenticeship, Certificate or Diploma preferred, ideally in a related discipline
