An Exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join a global leading pharmaceutical company on an 11-month contract.In this role, you will operate and monitor production activities and process equipment.This position is based in Carlow. This is a 4 cycle shift position.
Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):
Perform maintenance on process equipment, conducting preventive measures and troubleshooting and repairing equipment within your expertise.
Manage cleanliness, housekeeping, and material handling across production areas, emphasizing continuous process improvement through Lean Principles.
Operate and oversee production tasks and support machinery, utilizing MES/DCS and PLC systems to maintain optimal equipment functionality and meet production goals
Organize equipment flow, monitor clean and soiled hold times, appropriately label, and manage inventory of clean and sterilized equipment using Kanban systems to ensure quality control and track equipment expiration dates.
Required to comply with company's Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions.
What the ideal production operator looks like:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent required
Apprenticeship, Certificate or Diploma preferred, ideally in a related discipline
Work experience; ideally in a manufacturing, preferably GMP setting
