HR Business Partner required for our client in Galway - Hybrid
The HR Business Partner will provide general HR services across a number of functions.
Responsibilities:
Leads all HR-related initiatives in the business.
Inputs into HR strategy.
Ensures that the business is getting value for money from its people resources through implementing a groupwide resource planning culture.
Reduces the risks inherent in our current approach to HR.
Coordinates the maintenance of HR policies, procedures and employee handbooks.
Coordinates the maintenance, recording, preparation and reporting of data related to personnel information.
Coordinates and maintains human resource data and the generation and distribution of related reports and information.
Ensures a consistent and transparent approach to benchmarking and salary adjustments.
Assists with delivery of improved performance potential of all staff.
Optimises the use of performance management systems and HR software.
Allows us to implement an effective approach to people development and training in conjunction with Head of Training and Development and line managers.
Manages training and development requirements, ensuring value for money.
Ensures continual improvement with regard to employee communication.
Monitors upstream legislative changes e.g. IAF/SEAR, Pension Auto Enrolment.
Inputs into the resolution of HR problems and issues.
Reviews personnel forms and contracts of employment for completeness, accuracy, timing and conformity to budget and policy guidelines.
Helps manage training and development requirements.
Supports managers at all levels to adopt a consistent approach to HR activities.
May have responsibility for recruitment of staff up to middle management level.
Experience:
Third-level degree in HR or a related discipline
CIPD or otherwise accredited.
3-5 years’ experience in a Human Resources role.
Exposure and detailed knowledge of Employment Legislation, policies, procedures and best practice
Familiarity with regulated businesses would be an advantage.
Customer focused.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
