We are supporting our client in hiring a motivated Clinical Engineering Technician in Sligo to support the safe and effective use of medical technology across their healthcare services. This is an initial 6 month contract and is an urgent and critical hire for the client.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance, servicing and lifecycle management of medical devices.
  • Assist with health technology assessments and equipment evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to risk management and troubleshooting activities.
  • Provide training and support to clinical staff on device operation.
  • Participate in the introduction and integration of new technologies.

Education Requirements

Level 7 or higher qualification in one of the following disciplines: Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrument Physics, Industrial Instrumentation, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
