Our client is seeking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position which can be based in Ballinasloe or Newcastle Road, Co. Galway. This role is based in a Healthcare Facility.
The successful candidate must have previous supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Endorse new Company initiatives and ensure they are implemented on-site
- Ensure that staff are adhering to policies and procedures in controlled environments where strict rules and procedures must be followed to prevent contamination
- Ensure that staff are achieving the required cleaning standards
- Monitor cleaning standards on a daily basis using the company auditing tool
- Assess performance of staff and identify training needs
- Respond to client needs as required
- Carry out regular and thorough treatments/inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are adhered to at all times
Requirements
- Previous cleaning supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the provision of customer service is paramount and customer care is a key element of the role
- Excellent people management skills
- The ability to work in confined spaces as this may be a requirement from time to time
- Fluent English - both written and spoken
