Experienced Travel Consultant – Dublin

My client, a multi award winning travel agency, is currently seeking to recruit Experienced Travel Consultants to join their retail teams in Dublin.
The successful Experienced Travel Consultant will be responsible for:
- Managing the end-to-end booking process for a wide range of travel products including package holidays, cruises, long-haul trips, city breaks and sports packages
- Delivering a high level of customer service throughout the sales and post-sale journey
- Confidently selling, closing, and upselling travel products to maximise revenue and margin
- Building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Demonstrating excellent destination and geographical knowledge
- Working to individual and team sales targets on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis
- Managing pricing and margins (typically 12–16%) while ensuring commercial viability and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring all bookings, documentation, and payments are processed accurately and in line with company procedures
- Liaising with airlines, tour operators, and suppliers to secure the best travel solutions for customers
- Working collaboratively within a retail team to support overall branch performance
- Maintaining a professional and positive presence within a fast-paced retail environment
The successful Experienced Travel Consultant will be:
- Experienced in retail travel sales or a similar travel sales environment
- A confident and consultative seller with proven ability to close and upsell
- Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
- Commercially aware with experience working to and achieving sales targets
- Passionate about travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- A team player who thrives in a busy, sales-driven environment
