Our client, one of Ireland’s largest insurance providers, is looking for a Sponsorship and Partnership Manager to join their team in Cork on a permanent basis. The primary function is to lead and optimise the strategic direction, commercial performance, and portfolio value of all sponsorship and partnership initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable brand and business impact.
This is a hybrid position, and frequent travel to Dublin will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve the end-to-end sponsorship and partnership strategy to drive brand relevance, audience connection, and business growth.
- Build a future-fit portfolio that balances reach, resonance, return on investment, loyalty, and long-term value across the customer lifecycle.
- Integrate sponsorships seamlessly into broader marketing, brand, and customer experience strategies, breaking silos across the business.
- Secure, manage, and optimise high-value sponsorship agreements with clear KPIs for brand uplift, engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Act as a senior liaison for key internal stakeholders while mentoring and developing a high-performing team and strong external relationships.
- Champion innovation in sponsorship activation, measurement, and audience engagement, backed by insights, benchmarking, and analysis.
- Lead standout events that earn national attention and deliver measurable business impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing management, sponsorship, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of securing and managing successful sponsorship deals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
- Experience in event planning and management.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align sponsorship activities with business goals.
