Our client is a well-regarded provider of material handling and equipment support services who are based in North Dublin. With a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence, they are now seeking a Service Support Administrator to support their service team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a full time, permanent role based on their site.

As a Service Support Administrator, you will support day-to-day service operations by managing job workflows, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer communications. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth service experience for customers while maintaining accurate systems and records.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and engineers, taking calls and logging service requests.
  • Raise, manage, and complete service jobs.
  • Monitor job status and update service leads on unissued or pending jobs.
  • Request and manage purchase orders (POs) from customers and link them to service jobs.
  • Complete jobs and generate invoices.
  • Update customer portals with job progress and completion details.
  • Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience within in a role that supported a material handling, industrial machinery, or a technical service environment.
  • Previous experience in service administration, customer service, or parts support is essential.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with service workflows, invoicing, and job tracking systems will be an advantage.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive approach with a strong customer-service mindset.
