Our client a pharmaceutical manufacturing company have an new opening for a Quality Manager. The company have almost 25 years in business and are a leading player within the industry, boasting a diverse portfolio of market-leading brands like Uniflu and Exputex. The Quality Manager will be responsible for all quality related functions within their pharmaceutical site. This position will be based in their HQ in Clonee County Meath

 Responsibilities:

  • Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
  • thorough review of existing templates and ensuring fully compliant with Regulations across pharmaceutical products, food supplements and medical devices.
  • Ensuring paper-based quality management system is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible and is up to date with the short-medium plan of managing the transition of this to an electronic system  
  • Ensuring customer and supplier qualifications are up to date as well as audit requirements.
  • ensuring that manufacturing processes performed by our CMOs comply with registered methods.
  • Reviews trends in all of our documents within our QMS and continuously improves upon these, including working towards targets on closure times.
  • Reviewing training needs for the team.
  • To assist in due diligence of potential acquisition targets.
  • Provide practical and pragmatic solutions to any issues encountered.
  • Work closely with Regulatory and be capable of hosting HPRA and any other audits.

Requirements:

  • A 3rd level qualification in a relevant science or Quality discipline
  • 3-4 years working as a Quality Manager with previous pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Experience managing a transition of a QMS from paper to electronic very beneficial 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
