Qualified Accountant
Cork | Full-Time | 1 day WFH
Our client a well-established, client-focused accounting practice based in Cork,just 30 minutes from the southside of the city, are expanding their team. We’re looking for a qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ practice experience who enjoys problem-solving, thinking creatively, and working closely with clients.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Tax and Audit Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of work, including:
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders and limited companies
- Account production and review
- Direct interaction with clients across a variety of sectors
- Assisting with tax compliance and advisory work
- Supporting audit and practice operations as required
What We’re Looking For
- Chartered or Certified Accountant qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in practice
- A proactive, “think outside the box” mindset
- Strong attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients
Technical Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Sage
- Experience using ROS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Core (or similar practice management software)
