Our client, a multinational medical device manufacturer, is currently looking for a Planner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time, on-site position based outside of Waterford City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan key product production to support manufacturing.
- Update monthly production volumes in ERP and maintain forecasts in VMI.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for critical SKUs.
- Prioritise production schedules and issue operational reports as needed.
- Provide available-to-promise dates to markets and distribution centres.
- Support new product setup, master data changes, and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, NPI, and Operations to maintain accurate MRP and supply master data.
- Ensure cGMP compliance and contribute to departmental reporting and tier management.
Requirements:
- Planning or Business related degree or equivalent experience.
- Ideally 2-3+ years planning experience.
- IIPMM / AIPICs qualified is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge and comfortable using Excel.
- Knowledge of ERPLx or similar ERP systems is desirable.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to work on own initiative.
