Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join their team as an Operations Improvement Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by optimizing processes, enhancing equipment reliability, and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Build capability within the operations teams to improve processes using cutting-edge loss elimination tools.

  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for targeted improvement projects.

  • Drive breakthrough cost and waste elimination initiatives to achieve cost savings targets.

  • Collaborate with technology vendors to explore and implement innovative solutions.

  • Lead and participate in validations to ensure compliance and efficiency.

  • Improve and maintain safety standards and product quality across operations.

  • Report directly to Operations leaders and work closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Implement best practices in operations technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving within the organization.

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering preferred).

  • Mastery in operations technologies and proven experience in manufacturing environments.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and ability to drive results.

  • High level of computer literacy, with programming experience being advantageous.

  • Exposure to validations, either running or leading them.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with extensive experience in problem-solving.

  • Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
