Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join their team as an Operations Improvement Specialist. Responsibilities:
Build capability within the operations teams to improve processes using cutting-edge loss elimination tools.
Analyze data and trends to identify areas for targeted improvement projects.
Drive breakthrough cost and waste elimination initiatives to achieve cost savings targets.
Collaborate with technology vendors to explore and implement innovative solutions.
Lead and participate in validations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Improve and maintain safety standards and product quality across operations.
Report directly to Operations leaders and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Implement best practices in operations technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving within the organization.
Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful execution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering preferred).
Mastery in operations technologies and proven experience in manufacturing environments.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and ability to drive results.
High level of computer literacy, with programming experience being advantageous.
Exposure to validations, either running or leading them.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solution-oriented mindset with extensive experience in problem-solving.
Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
