An exciting opportunity for an experienced PCB Test Technician to join a leading designer and manufacturer of high-reliability electronic motor control solutions based in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This role will be on a permanent contract and will be based on a Mon-Fri week.
Role Requirements:
- The PCB Test Technician will use schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications to set up and test Moog products.
- The PCB Test Technician will use a variety of test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meter’s, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry, (analogue, digital, power) to test and debug a variety of Electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems consisting of passive components to FPGA’s and microprocessors.
- Test and debug of electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.
- Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
Role Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in product verification and test automation would be beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Qualification options:
- Ordinary Degree / Diploma in Electronic Engineering
- Ordinary Degree / Diploma in Physics and Instrumentation
- Certificate in Electronic Engineering
- Certificate in Physics and Instrumentation
- A trade, Electrician, Instrumentation
- A Leaving Cert with good results in Maths and Physics
