Excellent opportunity for a qualified or part qualified accountant to get experience working in a global shared services centre. It is an full time, 11 month contract based in Dublin South. The team is based on site 4 days and 1 day from home.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the monthly general ledger close activities for US GAAP
Review and preparation of monthly reconciliations & journals to ensure high quality compliance with US GAAP
Complete SOX controls in line with control matrix
Work closely with outsourced business partner.
Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders and provide information and support as needed
Ensure timely completion of Internal and External audits.
Requirements:
Qualified or part qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA;
2- 3 years’ experience preferably with Shared Service Centre/multinational organisation but not essential
SAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable
Strong Excel skills are required
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and flexibility required
