We are seeking a highly organised, friendly Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our client's very busy practice in Athlone.

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 9am-6pm


Key Responsibilities of Medical Receptionist:

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
  • Answer telephone calls, screen and route them appropriately, providing necessary information or taking accurate messages.
  • Maintain and organise the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and a professional appearance.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail, distributing them to the appropriate individuals.
  • Type documents such as medical reports, referral letters 

Skills and experience required:

  • This role is ideal for someone coming from a fast-paced public-facing role.
  • 2 years in a busy administrative role.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills- word, excel, outlook
