We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior or Part Qualified Accountant to join our client's dynamic team located in Killorglin, Kerry. This hybrid role requires a skilled professional to take on the essential responsibilities associated with the Accounts department, aligning with the outlined Responsibilities and Requirements below.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Team, ensuring the production of management accounts and reports meets high accuracy standards and adheres to deadlines. This role would suit someone with 1-2 years of industry accounting experience who is currently pursuing their fully qualified accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly preparation of meticulous management accounts and insightful analysis
- Crafting monthly Profit & Loss and balance sheet reports
- Collaborating closely with the Accounts Team to enhance and streamline operational processes
- Handling VAT, Intrastat, Vies, and CSO returns
- Coordinating with Company Auditors to compile annual statutory accounts
- Conducting precise bank reconciliations
- Overseeing customer finance options
- Managing the fixed assets register
- Generating statutory reports
- Ensuring meticulous preparation of accounts
- Maintaining organized and filed records
- Producing finance reports and analysis on demand
- Undertaking general administration tasks as required.
Key Requirements:
- Essential prior experience in a similar accounts role
- Pursuing professional finance qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
- Advantageous experience in SAP
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Essential traits of flexibility, drive, energy, and self-motivation.
