An exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our client, a market-leading company in the Process Equipment and Engineering Solutions industry. This role will primarily be based onsite in Little Island, Cork on a permanent contract. This role requires flexibility in terms of travel and client sites and will require overnight stays for certain client site visits (nationwide).
Role Responsibilities:
- In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold with a focus on valve related items.
- The Field Service Engineer role will consist of a mix of work both in the workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.
- Troubleshooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.
- Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts, Tools & Testing equipment.
- The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.
- Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.
- The Field Service Enginner will have responsibility of upkeep/maintenance of workshop – Including company Tools, Equipment & Assets.
- Adherence to companies ISO 9001:2015 Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.
Role Requirements:
- Mechanical/Electrical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.
- Previous experience in a field-based role is advantageous.
- Role does require travel in Ireland & overnight stays on occasion.
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
