An exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our client, a market-leading company in the Process Equipment and Engineering Solutions industry. This role will primarily be based onsite in Little Island, Cork on a permanent contract. This role requires flexibility in terms of travel and client sites and will require overnight stays for certain client site visits (nationwide).

Role Responsibilities:

  • In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold with a focus on valve related items.
  • The Field Service Engineer role will consist of a mix of work both in the workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.
  • Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts, Tools & Testing equipment.
  • The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.
  • Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.
  • The Field Service Enginner will have responsibility of upkeep/maintenance of workshop – Including company Tools, Equipment & Assets.
  • Adherence to companies ISO 9001:2015 Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.

Role Requirements:

  • Mechanical/Electrical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.
  • Previous experience in a field-based role is advantageous.
  • Role does require travel in Ireland & overnight stays on occasion.
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
