Our client is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their EMEA Service Technical Support team. This role is primarily field-based across Ireland and is responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and technical support of medical devices at customer sites. The position requires a high level of autonomy, strong customer engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform field repairs, preventive maintenance, and service actions in line with approved procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate customer site visits.
- Manage spare parts inventory and forecasting.
- Complete accurate service documentation and system updates (DSOR/OSC).
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Deliver device service training where required.
- Support service process improvements and quality compliance initiatives.
- Assist with new product introductions and service updates within the region.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, quality, EHS, and company standards.
Requirments:
- HNC / NFQ Level 6 (or equivalent) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronic or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field service environment.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
