Our client, a global healthcare leader, is seeking to recruit an EHS Project Manager to join their team in Cootehill, Co. Cavan.
Responsibilities (full job description available on request):
As an EHS Project Manager, you will:
Ensure business operations priorities human health, safety, and the environment by following all relevant laws and standards.
Consult Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks and make sure they're understood and followed.
Manage health and safety documents like Project RAMS, safety files, risk assessments, inspections, and accident investigations.
Support the Senior EHS Project Manager in implementing and reviewing the EHS projects' strategic plan annually.
Assist with managing ISO45001 certification, including documentation and internal audits.
Participate in internal audits at Cootehill and sister plants.
Lead site-specific EHS projects, ensuring they stay within budget and timelines.
Track project progress and provide regular updates to the EHS team.
Requirements:
A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health and Safety.
At least 3 years experience in a high volume and dynamic production environment.
Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
