Our client, a global healthcare leader, is seeking to recruit an EHS Project Manager to join their team in Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

Responsibilities (full job description available on request):

As an EHS Project Manager, you will:

  • Ensure business operations priorities human health, safety, and the environment by following all relevant laws and standards.

  • Consult Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks and make sure they're understood and followed.

  • Manage health and safety documents like Project RAMS, safety files, risk assessments, inspections, and accident investigations.

  • Support the Senior EHS Project Manager in implementing and reviewing the EHS projects' strategic plan annually.

  • Assist with managing ISO45001 certification, including documentation and internal audits.

  • Participate in internal audits at Cootehill and sister plants.

  • Lead site-specific EHS projects, ensuring they stay within budget and timelines.

  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to the EHS team.

Requirements:

  • A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health and Safety.

  • At least 3 years experience in a high volume and dynamic production environment.

  • Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
