The Job:

Based with a public sector body in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, this is a temporary contract where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office - 3 Month FTC initially with the possibility of extension.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support
  • To work cohesively as part of a small team ensuring deadlines are met
  • Take calls from members of the public and deal with enquires
  • Provide responses to queries from the public
  • Monitor and maintain email enquires to the office ensuring they are directed to appropriate staff in a timely manner
  • Update and maintain databases using microsoft excel and access
  • Maintain confidentiality of documentation, records etc
  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of area of responsibility
  • Ensure that archives and records are accurate and readily available

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ years experience within administration/accounts
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail 
  • Good with figures
  • Ability to make informed and confident decisions
