Responsibilities

As our client expands across Europe and into the US, this role offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to position this company as the #1 support tool for the Neurodiverse community. This role includes:

  • Leading and delivering further development of the software platform which interacts with the experiences of the user.

  • Managing, growing, and developing a rapidly expanding team of software and design engineers

  • Manage multiple projects including new product platforms, product (hardware and software) development and improvement, while providing leadership and work direction for local teams.

  • Investigation and development of innovative solutions (cutting edge biometric, electronics, etc.).

  • Identify and manage IP global protection programs across our clients platform.

  • Executing design lead projects relating to hardware and software changes.

  • Developing customer led solutions for all aspects of the community.

  • Identify and mange research and grant opportunities in all aspects of use.

  • Regularly reporting project status to all stakeholders; developing metrics and goals to monitor performance and effectiveness.

  • Budget management and reporting.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

This is a senior role within our organisation and candidates need to have a proven track record in development and rapid growth organisations. This candidate should have:

  • Minimum Honours Degree in Electrical and Software engineering or equivalent

  • 10+ years’ experience working in an engineering or R&D environment

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in leading/managing engineering projects and engineering teams

  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, mobile application architecture, and database design

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Microsoft Azure) are advantageous

  • Knowledge of Android and IOS systems

  • Proven experience in developing and executing to project budgets and timelines.
