Comprehensive training will be provided, including third-party training on robotics and Cognex vision systems.
Purpose of the Job:
To ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of all plant automation systems.
To uphold the highest standards of equipment validation in line with QA procedures.
To spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.
Responsibilities:
As an Automation Engineer, your duties will include:
Adherence to and understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all tasks undertaken.
Efficient planning and scheduling of work, balancing plant demands with manpower availability.
Upholding stringent safety rules and regulations for all employees and contractors.
Drive reductions in product costs by enhancing operational efficiencies.
Swift identification and rectification of faults within automation systems to prevent recurrence.
Management and compliance oversight of plant automation systems including CFR 21/11 adherence.
Oversight of Plant Batching System, manufacturing communication network, and Predictive Control System maintenance.
Coordination of CAPA investigations impacting engineering processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automation engineering within the medical device, pharmaceutical industry or food industry.
Proficiency in Siemens PLCs is essential.
Experience with Ignition (SCADA) systems is highly advantageous.
