Collins McNicholas promotes Emma Woods to HR Services Manager

Collins McNicholas is announcing the promotion of Emma Woods to the role of HR Services Manager.

Emma, who was previously a Senior HR Services Consultant for the Collins McNicholas group, is mainly based at the Collins McNicholas Athlone office, but travels the length and breadth of the country to offer outplacement, psychometrics, interview best practice training, large scale assessment centres and bespoke assessment solutions to companies both nationwide and internationally.

This year in particular, the company has seen significant growth in demand for its Outplacement Plus service, a programme specifically tailored to offer support to the employer and employees when faced with a redundancy situation. With the inclusion of a recruitment module, Collins McNicholas ensures staff have the best opportunity to find new employment and move forward with their careers.

Originally hailing from Ballinasloe, Emma joined Collins McNicholas in September 2016. Emma brings years of experience to her new position having worked previously with a psychometric assessment provider for recruitment, selection and development. Emma’s background is in Organisational Psychology with an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology from the University of Limerick and a BA in Psychology from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. Emma is also certified by the British Psychological Society for Level A and B Test User Qualifications: Ability and Personality Psychometrics and is QQI train the trainer accredited.

Emma Woods says:

Collins McNicholas this year celebrates 30 years in business and has a nationwide presence with offices in Athlone, Cork, Dublin, Sligo and Galway, where it is Headquartered. It currently has almost 60 people employed across Ireland.
