An exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Executive to join a leading organisation in the construction sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a broad range of construction products to developers, contractors, architects, and engineers across the Midlands and North Leinster region.
This is a full-time, permanent role which is primarily Field-based.
Responsibilities of Technical Sales Executive:
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities for the company’s full range of construction products.
- Track and monitor projects from planning through to delivery to maximise sales potential.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, developers, and design teams by offering tailored, cost-effective solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance on product selection and application to meet project requirements.
- Deliver product presentations, technical training sessions, and CPD seminars.
- Collaborate with colleagues in sales and technical support to drive opportunities and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Attend construction sites to advise on best practice, troubleshoot product-related issues, and support project teams on site.
Requirements for Technical Sales Executive:
- Third-level qualification in a construction-related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in technical sales, ideally within construction products.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry, building products, and current regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
