Technical Sales Engineer

We are partnering with Arrotek, a leading medical device engineering company, to hire a Technical Sales Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a technical background to join a growing team, build lasting client relationships, and work on innovative medical device projects with international reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and engaging new customers.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, site visits, and customer meetings (some travel across Europe expected).
  • Research and identify potential customers, arranging sales calls and meetings.
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations, facility tours, and post-sales support.
  • Prepare quotations and manage customer follow-ups.
  • Support contract processes including review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Collaborate with project teams by joining weekly customer calls.
  • Stay up to date on new company products and industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and sales logs.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in consultative sales, ideally in MedTech, manufacturing, or software.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong technical interest in engineering, manufacturing, or mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and active listening skills.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
