The Job:
We’re searching for a dynamic, commercially sharp Shopper Marketing Manager to take the lead on shopper strategy for a diverse portfolio spanning dry grocery, snacking, and confectionery. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of brands with more than a century of heritage—brands that now need bold thinking, fresh energy, and a challenger mindset to stay relevant for the next generation of shoppers. You’ll lead a team of two and own the full shopper marketing strategy—from insight to activation to executional excellence. You’ll shape how our brands show up across the Irish retail landscape, using shopper behavior, category dynamics, and commercial priorities to deliver standout in‑store experiences and drive incremental sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a deep understanding of shopper profiles, journeys, barriers, and decision drivers
- Partner with insights teams to uncover trends and identify growth opportunities
- Develop disruptive, high‑impact in‑store activations (POS, displays, merchandising)
- Align execution with commercial teams, distributors, and retail partners
- Lead full campaign delivery—from briefing and budgeting to execution and post‑evaluation
- Ensure shopper plans are fully integrated with brand campaigns
- Work with commercial teams to secure retailer support, space, pricing, and promotional alignment
- Set KPIs and track performance across all shopper programs
- Use data to optimise activity and share learnings across the business
- Manage the shopper marketing budget with a sharp focus on ROI
- Oversee POS and display costing to maximise value and efficiency
- Test and pilot new shopper marketing innovations
Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Shopper Marketing Manager within FMCG or consumer goods (
- Expertise in integrated shopper communications and the retail ecosystem, including partners such as Dunnhumby and Elevate
- Strong analytical capability with experience using Nielsen, IRI, Kantar or similar tools
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative, hands‑on leader with excellent stakeholder management
- A proven ability to create winning strategies and translate them into commercially powerful shopper plans
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of value creation and margin levers
- Experience delivering best‑in‑class execution and influencing key stakeholders

- Experience building, coaching, and empowering high‑performing teams
