Our client, a leading mechanical fabrication and installation specialist, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-value data centre projects across Ireland and mainland Europe. With a strong reputation in precision engineering and complex prefabrication solutions, the company supports major international data centre developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, international environments.
The role will require travel to Mainland Europe every few weeks to support site meetings, client engagement, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical fabrication and installation projects from planning to completion
- Coordinate design, fabrication, logistics, and site teams
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships across European projects
- Oversee site progress during regular European travel
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality & safety standards
- Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and project reporting
- Ensure H&S, regulatory compliance, and commercial control (costs, procurement, variations)
Requirements:
- Proven Project Management experience within mechanical, M&E, or construction sectors
- Strong background in data centre, industrial, pharma, or large-scale construction projects
- Solid understanding of mechanical installations/fabrication
- Strong commercial, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and leadership ability
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software
- Full driving licence & valid passport (European travel essential)
Desirable:
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent qualification
- International project experience
- Knowledge of BIM or digital project tools
- Familiarity with EU construction standards
