Maintenance Project Manager

We are looking to hire a Maintenance Project Manager for our Mayo based client. Ideally applicants will have a background in Project Management along with electrical and people leadership experience.


Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Project Manager will be responsible for the management of public lighting projects in the Connacht Region.  


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are delivered meeting the respective safety, quality and cost objectives of the business and clients
  • Analyse and report Project portfolio performance including KPI monitoring, budget, cost control, risk management, client billing, cash flow and implementing rapid recovery as required.
  • Manage Project tasks and key deliverables via the development and management of detailed Schedules & Programmes of works for Projects, including identification and management of resource requirements, plant & equipment and materials.
  • Manage and co-ordinate workflows between site crews, subcontractors and other relevant parties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports to clients and management.
  • Manage changes and variations in project scope, including communicating them effectively to the QS team for pricing and cost recovery.
  • Actively partake in the implementation of business operating systems to improve efficiency throughout the organisation, specifically but not limited to the area of project management.
  • Manage a high performing team ensuring all goals and objectives are met in line with company values.


Requirements

  • Qualified Level 8 Degree in Project Management or Electrical Engineering
  • Management experience delivering projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and client relationship management
  • Experience in applying lean principles to work activities.
