Our client are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead film production operations and oversee the introduction of new technology within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires strong leadership, technical competence, and adherence to FDA and cGMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage film production processes and new technology implementation.
- Conduct and monitor standard work practices across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and workplace innovation.
- Oversee production metrics including yield, downtime, quality, and resource utilization.
- Foster a culture of decision-making, teamwork, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP).
- Manage performance reviews, training, and development for team members.
- Oversee attendance, timekeeping, and communication across departments.
- Maintain high Environmental Health & Safety standards.
- Achieve production and budgetary targets.
Requirements:
- 3rd-level qualification, preferably in a technical discipline.
- Proven supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA/cGMP essential; unionized environment preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
