My client is a well-established and globally recognised manufacturing business with a strong reputation for engineering excellence and operational quality. With a supportive and purpose-driven culture, they are currently seeking to appoint a Production Control Coordinator to join their team in a key operational role in Kingscourt. The hours are Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, and on Friday's the hours are 8am-2pm.

Responsibilities will include –
- Supporting and maintaining production control processes aligned with business goals and quality standards.
- Assisting in the upkeep and coordination of production scheduling systems, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Collaborating with leadership to monitor and identify trends or issues requiring escalation or intervention.
- Facilitating cross-functional communication during the rollout of process improvements (e.g., Engineering Change Orders, Production Change Requests).
- Supporting S&OP planning including forecast entry, sales order updates, and technical specification changes.
- Sharing responsibility for inventory management and reporting with the Production Controller.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers, including participation in global coordination meetings.
- Preparing weekly and monthly data reports to inform key stakeholders and support decision-making.
- Participating in 5S audits and steel stock audits to promote and maintain operational excellence.
- Deputising for the Production Controller in meetings or where required.
- Attending and contributing to “clear to build” meetings with cross-functional teams across design, purchasing, and engineering.
- Providing administrative support in Health & Safety processes alongside the Senior HSE Advisor.
Requirements –
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach to tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Solutions-oriented, with confidence to take initiative and problem-solve.
- Competence in managing systems and data—accurate entry and interpretation is essential.
- Experience liaising across departments and coordinating on projects or process changes.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace.
