A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join them on a 12-month contract. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to drive commercial growth within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sectors.
You will be responsible for promoting and selling Single-Use Systems and related technologies across Ireland. While it is a nationwide role, much of the client base will be Leinster based. The role focuses heavily on new business development, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within biopharma manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and convert new customer opportunities
- Maintain and grow existing accounts
- Track and manage opportunities through CRM
- Gather and report market intelligence to support commercial strategy
- Participate in marketing activities, trade shows, and customer presentations
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (Engineering preferred)
- 3+ years’ sales experience, ideally within medical, biopharma, or OEM environments
- Strong technical understanding of product development cycles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience
