Our client is a long-established energy provider supplying fuel products across Ireland for nearly four decades.
They are currently expanding their network and are seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive regional sales and foster long-term customer relationships in Westmeath, Offaly, and Meath.
Key Responsibilities of Area Sales Manager:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company’s retail fuels network within the assigned region.
- Drive business development initiatives, including new site acquisitions, brand partnerships, and supply agreements.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Present tailored commercial and branding solutions to customers, including consignment and supply options.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Wholesale, and Marketing teams to optimise market coverage and cross-selling opportunities.
- Deliver on agreed sales, volume, and profitability targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing developments to identify emerging opportunities.
- Provide accurate reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer insights.
- Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and performance tracking to support business planning.
Qualifications & Experience of Area Sales Manager:
- Third-level qualification in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or Senior Account Manager within the fuels, energy, FMCG, or B2B sectors.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
- Commercially focused, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
