Our client is a long-established energy provider supplying fuel products across Ireland. They are currently looking to expand their team and add an Area Sales Manager to cover Tipperary, Clare and Limerick. This is a full-time, permanent role and will drive regional sales, expand the footprint, and manage relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the company’s retail fuel network across the assigned region.
- Drive new business initiatives, including new site acquisitions, brand partnerships, and supply agreements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term profitability.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Wholesale, and Retail Fuels teams to align strategies, share insights, and maximise cross-selling.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new opportunities to inform strategy and drive growth.
- Manage customer accounts, credit monitoring, and CRM records to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Present tailored commercial and branding solutions while upholding the brands standards.
- Support marketing initiatives, network expansion, and cross-functional projects to deliver operational and sales excellence.
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Business or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager or Senior Account Manager.
- Experience within the fuels, energy, FMCG or B2B sectors.
- Full, clean driver’s license.
- Commercially focused with strong negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
