Our client is hiring an Office Administrator to join their team in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon. This is an initial 1-month contract with an immediate start date. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative activities on-site.
Responsibilities of an Office Administrator (Full job description available on request):
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Input and process customer orders accurately into the CORE system.
- Liaise with retail stores, production, and transport teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, documents, and logs.
- Support the preparation and distribution of order documentation and dispatch information.
- Assist with general office duties including filing, data entry, and email correspondence.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
Ideal background:
- Strong communication, literacy, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using ERP systems; familiarity with CORE is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team.
