The NPD Program Manager plays a critical role in driving New Product Development projects from concept through market launch. This position ensures effective cross-functional collaboration, manages project timelines and resources, and supports global product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
Lead multiple NPD projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Maintain project charters, timelines, and status reports.
Execute the stage-gate process and manage risk mitigation plans.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Coordinate with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Marketing, and external partners.
Ensure product launch readiness and compliance with quality and documentation standards.
Process & Tool Optimisation
Improve NPD workflows and documentation.
Enhance project tracking using tools like Smartsheet or Tableau.
Help develop SOPs and best practices.
Budget & Resource Oversight
Track project budgets and optimise resource allocation.
Monitor team capacity and project bottlenecks.
Performance & Reporting
Track KPIs such as time-to-market and budget adherence.
Deliver weekly updates and executive-level reports.
Conduct post-launch reviews to inform future projects.
Training & Communication
Train cross-functional teams on NPD processes and tools.
Keep global stakeholders aligned and informed.
Administrative & General Support
Manage project documentation, dashboards, and presentations.
Support event planning, demos, and occasional evening meetings across time zones.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Occasional travel (up to 10%).
