The NPD Program Manager plays a critical role in driving New Product Development projects from concept through market launch. This position ensures effective cross-functional collaboration, manages project timelines and resources, and supports global product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Execution

  • Lead multiple NPD projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Maintain project charters, timelines, and status reports.

  • Execute the stage-gate process and manage risk mitigation plans.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Marketing, and external partners.

  • Ensure product launch readiness and compliance with quality and documentation standards.

Process & Tool Optimisation

  • Improve NPD workflows and documentation.

  • Enhance project tracking using tools like Smartsheet or Tableau.

  • Help develop SOPs and best practices.

Budget & Resource Oversight

  • Track project budgets and optimise resource allocation.

  • Monitor team capacity and project bottlenecks.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as time-to-market and budget adherence.

  • Deliver weekly updates and executive-level reports.

  • Conduct post-launch reviews to inform future projects.

Training & Communication

  • Train cross-functional teams on NPD processes and tools.

  • Keep global stakeholders aligned and informed.

Administrative & General Support

  • Manage project documentation, dashboards, and presentations.

  • Support event planning, demos, and occasional evening meetings across time zones.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

  • Occasional travel (up to 10%).
