We are seeking a highly organised, friendly Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our client's very busy practice in Athlone.
This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
Key Responsibilities of Medical Receptionist:
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
- Answer telephone calls, screen and route them appropriately, providing necessary information or taking accurate messages.
- Maintain and organise the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and a professional appearance.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail, distributing them to the appropriate individuals.
- Type documents such as medical reports, referral letters
Skills and experience required:
- This role is ideal for someone coming from a fast-paced public-facing role.
- 2 years in a busy administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills- word, excel, outlook
