A well-established and growing engineering engineering company is expanding their team and looking for a driven Mechanical Project Manager to lead exciting mechanical services projects from contract award through to final handover.

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. You'll collaborate closely with clients, design teams, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of mechanical services project delivery, from planning and construction to testing and commissioning
  • Coordinate with all project stakeholders to meet project objectives and client requirements
  • Monitor site progress regularly, ensuring quality, safety, and procurement targets are met
  • Oversee project budgets and financial performance
  • Attend pre-appointment meetings and confirm project scope with all stakeholders
  • Review and coordinate construction drawings and design
  • Ensure compliance with all project specifications, change control, and safety standards
  • Support operational teams in maintaining high compliance and quality standards

What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a contracting environment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and direct teams
  • Excellent technical, IT, organisational, and communication skills
