My client, an established and innovative organisation based in Longford, is currently seeking a Material Handler (4 Cycle Shift) to join their growing production team. This role is central to their operations — ensuring materials and finished goods are moved efficiently and safely, while maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Safely handle and move materials and finished goods to support smooth production flow
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in line with cGMP, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 requirements
- Ensure accuracy of material usage, balances, and segregation of waste in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain real-time system integrity, issuing shift reports and addressing system issues as required
- Present finished goods to the warehouse according to company and customer standards
- Ensure seamless shift handovers with colleagues and supervisors
- Report safety, quality, or production concerns promptly to the Team Lead / Manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential
- Good understanding of plastics, IQMS, and general warehousing duties
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the company
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High level of computer literacy with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Proactive in identifying and reporting key production or safety issues
